Risk management software leader ClearRisk announced today it is now a certified B Corp (Benefit Corporation) following a successful, rigorous auditing process to secure its qualification.
Certified Benefit Corporations are global leaders committed to driving inclusive, equitable, and sustainable economies. Unlike typical corporate social responsibility commitments, B Corp is exceptional because the obligation applies to all aspects of operations. ClearRisk will now be held to a unique standard where the company’s entire social and environmental impact is measured.
ClearRisk was audited against standards of social and environmental performance and accountability in the areas of Governance, Workers, Community, Environment and Customers. ClearRisk will be required to recertify on a regular basis to assure adherence to the standards.
At the time of certification ClearRisk in one of six risk management companies in Canada with B Corp certification and one of 33 in the United States.
